Where is the training?
All LOJIC training classes are in the MSD Main Office BuildingPDF symbol, 700 West Liberty Street. Visitor parking is behind the building. Ask the receptionist desk in the lobby to directions to the training room.

How can you register for LOJIC classes?
Prospective trainees must complete a Registration Form PDF symbol to register for LOJIC classes and fax it to Jane Poole at (502) 540-6499. Registrants must indicate 1st and 2nd preference for training dates. LOJIC will reserve the right to finalize training reservations in order of precedence (listed below) and to optimize class size and participation. Optimum class size is 10 per class. Minimum class size is 5. LOJIC reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum class size requirement.

Who can attend LOJIC training?
With priority given to those registering for ArcGIS training, the Introduction to LOJIC course is generally open to  LOJIC Member  Agencies, their contractors and Licensees only and free of charge. All classes will be made available for the following groups, in order of priority, and will be based on demand, space and scheduling limitations: Current LOJIC participant agencies, LOJIC licensees with training agreement, participant contractors working on-site a minimum of 20 hours per week for a period of not less than three months on tasks requiring familiarity with ArcView, Contractors/consultants working under current agreement with a participant agency and with statement that it is in the participants best interest that the contractor/consultant receive ArcView training, Non-participant local/state/federal agencies.

How often is LOJIC training offered?
If warranted by demand, the Introduction to LOJIC and LOJIC Resources on the Internet workshop will be offered by LOJIC at least every other month during a calendar year.

What are the prerequisites for taking LOJIC courses?
Practical experience with Windows operating systems is required for all people registering for LOJIC training.

What happens after taking LOJIC classes?
Continuing technical support will be made available to LOJIC participants. Limited technical support from LOJIC staff may also be made available to licensees, if so defined within the terms of their license agreement. LOJIC will not provide technical support to other, non-participant trainees.
