Before you download this extension, Please do the following:
- Open an ArcView project
- Click on the file menu for the project window
- Choose the 'Extension' option
- Scroll through the Extension window and look for the X-shift tool
If you find the X-shift extension in the Extension window, you do not need to download the extension.
If you do not find the X-shift extension in the Extension window, do the following:
- Create a directory on your C: /drive called mystuff
- Download the X-shift extension to the mystuff directory
The extension is contained in an executable file called xshift.exe. To unzip the extension and the instruction file (instruct.txt), double click on the executable from the Windows after you have downloaded it into the C:/mystuff directory.
