All contracts requiring the use of LOJIC data or any LOJIC participant data accessed through the LOJIC system must include the following language:
The Consultant agrees that all hard copy and/or digital data as well as applications and/or programming code from the Louisville/Jefferson County Information Consortium (LOJIC) Geographic Information System (GIS) which are provided to the Consultant are copyrighted by one or more of the LOJIC Participants, (Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District, Louisville Metro Government, the Property Valuation Administrator and the Louisville Water Company) and are furnished to the Consultant with all rights reserved. However, notwithstanding the foregoing, the Consultant is hereby expressly permitted to use the LOJIC GIS data for the purposes required to complete the scope of this agreement, subject to the LOJIC GIS Copyright, Limitation of Liability and Accuracy Statement provided to the Consultant along with the hard copy and/or data. The Consultant further agrees not to otherwise copy, reproduce or use the LOJIC GIS data for any other purpose whatsoever.
LOJIC data should not be provided to consultants who do not agree in writing to the proper use of LOJIC data and any LOJIC Participant data accessed through the LOJIC system.
